Bicycle Rack Project

One main goal of converting a cargo van is maximizing storage space. Whether you live in a van or use it for extended road trips, an extra means of transportation is a valuable addition. Especially where many recreational areas have been adapted during this last decade to accommodate cyclists.
One would be able to simply install a roof rack or a rear rack connected to the hitch. A much more elegant solution, that keeps your bike out-of-the-weather and one that maintains your ‘stealthy’ living, is this van conversion that used the space under a raised bed.

My implementation will probably vary on details, but this solution is a good point to start from. The crucial part needed is a Fork Mount Rack, a small part that locks the front bike fork to the slide-out. That’s all folks!
